12th Gryffindor Note (Action first / later written)

((OOC: PLEASE READ. The first action part is for Draco, Raine, and Harry in that order. After she gets home and talks to Harry, housemates are free to reply and then anyone who's heard she's back and wants to come visit her is free to reply. But please wait for those three first. Thanks!  Have at now, but keep in mind that she is home so all action posts are at home!))

[It's midday in the woods. Calm, quiet. And then... CRUNCH SPLASH. Guess who just got literally dumped into the lake on this cold winter day? And hard enough to break what little ice is still left. Yep. Hermione's back. And she looks like she's been through hell. Coughing, sputtering. She's going to try to climb up onto the bank, because seriously Malnosso? A sprained ankle, a partially bleeding neck, and a bunch of scratches and bruises and you couldn't dump her somewhere dry?

So... the lake just seems to not like people lately.]


[Probably an hour later, writing will appear from her, but her hand is still shaky. If anyone remembers when she first arrived, this handwriting is comparable to that.]

I'd just like to inform everyone that I'm back. It's been long enough that I should have missed an experiment... I hope everyone else is well.

[Draco of course is at the lake. His lake, after all. And currently he's busy throwing rocks into the water and at the ice because life sucks. Just be lucky that rock suddenly slips from his hand and hits the bank instead because he's pretty damn surprised when Hermione turns up.]

[She's still sputtering as she tries to drag herself back onto ground. Ugh. And the first person she runs into is the first person who found her when she first arrived in Luceti. Hello there irony. You taste lovely today.]

[She has no idea and the fact that she's not quite right, either, doesn't really help her, though it does him. Taking that help and rolling over onto her back when she gets out.]

What, do people fall into lakes on a daily basis?

[She might sound a bit hissy right now, but that's because her neck's kind of bleeding and one of her ankles is... kinda swollen. Other than that she appears normal.]

[A shrug and he's sitting back on his heels to examine her.] Longbottom landed on ice last month. I fell through it that same night. Maybe it's a wizard thing. [About that point he focuses in on her neck] ...what the hell?

[Later - sometime after receiving a message to come to the scene - Raine will arrive with a blanket and some other warm, dry things for Hermione.]

It was no trouble, Hermione. [She'll set down the the things she brought carefully so as to not get them dirty.] You must have been through quite the ordeal.

[She's not entirely sure she wants to repeat what happened... but Raine is a trustworthy person.] A lot of memories... [She leans back a little, as she's resting against a tree.]

It's difficult to tell what was real and what was just stuff they made me relive...

I'm sorry... it must be even worse, with things being so muddled. [She frowns at that, knowing how Hermione hates not being able to keep track of her recollections, but kneels down next to her.]

[Harry is sitting out on the porch of the DA house, looking at the various plants Neville and Luna planted outside. After all that happened last week, Harry just wants some time to think for himself. But when he sees a familiar face come up, he's most definitely happy to see her.]

[And however she says good-bye to Raine, she still lights up tiredly when she sees Harry. She's better than she was, but she still looks a mess.]
