3rd Gryffindor Note - [voice]

[She sounds tired, interested in what she's doing, but very weary. Every so often, there's the rustle of a page, as though she's reading something. Knowing Hermione, she's in the library.]

These books are fascinating. I almost feel as though I'm back in my first school, studying for a test or something. Sciences, math, literature. Makes me miss the library at Hogwarts, not counting the librarian.

I wonder how everyone's doing...

[She sighs heavily. There's the scraping of a chair and then a thump later on, as though she's just set another book on the table.]

At least I have time to read now. Are there any other bookworms out here?

Think about it. You can't see the other person's expressions or actions and it's much harder to hex someone when you have no idea where they are.

[...oh for the love of Merlin. Sigh.] Hermione, you don't honestly think Potter and Weasley would support the idea of civility, do you?

I've convinced them of things in the past. And why should their approval matter so much?

If they brought you here, I'm sure they'll try to bring more just to make my life miserable. Besides, Gryffindors and Slytherins have always been enemies or whatever. That's just how it is. [He's not exactly flat-out thwarting her attempts. This is Draco Malfoy. He enjoys testing people.]

Whatever anyone says, I don't believe that. We don't have to be enemies. I don't honestly want any, Voldemort, Bellatrix, Snape, and the Carrows notwithstanding.
