3rd Gryffindor Note - [voice]

[She sounds tired, interested in what she's doing, but very weary. Every so often, there's the rustle of a page, as though she's reading something. Knowing Hermione, she's in the library.]

These books are fascinating. I almost feel as though I'm back in my first school, studying for a test or something. Sciences, math, literature. Makes me miss the library at Hogwarts, not counting the librarian.

I wonder how everyone's doing...

[She sighs heavily. There's the scraping of a chair and then a thump later on, as though she's just set another book on the table.]

At least I have time to read now. Are there any other bookworms out here?

[She turns quickly to look, as if she thinks he saw something, realises she read to much into it, grabs a polishing cloth hanging nearby, and aims a blow at his head. At least this won't hurt like the last time.]

[He flinches a bit when she hits him, blinks in surprise, and actually gives off what could pass as a genuine laugh.] Perhaps I am having some influence on you after all, resorting to violence like that.

[She can't help it. She laughs too.] Maybe you are and maybe I'm having an influence on you since you didn't retaliate. [She's teasing and she's smiling.]

[Half of him is incredibly amused, the other half is thinking how bizarre this whole thing is. But he's still smiling anyway.] You'll never know, now will you?
