...Well that was certainly interesting. I hope everyone made it out of the snow and back to their residences safely. I was caught at home, so I'm fine. If any of my housemates are coming home frozen, I'll have my bluebell flames in their jar in the middle of the common room.

I'd also like to hear from everyone I haven't spoken to yet since the blizzard ended. How are you all doing?

[Hermione is going to send a Messenger Patronus to her housemates, no matter where they are. It says, "Are you all right? Please see me. I need to teach you this." Except to Harry. His says, "I need to teach you this and for you to teach me something," but it comes back to her, whining...

[She'll be waiting on the bottom floor.]

He's cute. [She laughs a little bit.] And he's very good for your spirits.

[Terri sees you down there. She's perfectly happy up here, tyvm.]

See? He's good for lightening the spirits around here. And he can chase away dementors if they ever show up.

[Padfoot disapproves. And he'll let that be known by trying to stand on his hindlegs to get to Terri. Come down here and play!]

You don't really think Dementors will show up, do you?

[Terri doesn't really care, but she's totes taking notes on you, Padfoot.]

I hope not. But if they do, at least some of us can make a barrier big enough to confine them. [Or so she hopes but she's not going to say that.]

[And Padfoot's currently just whining at her. Terri DX Don't leave me high and dry man.]

No. I don't see how the Malnosso could do it.

[...oh yeah? Well, Padfoot's going to sit and stare for a few more moments before yipping slightly and walking off, only to run and try to knock over the table]

[If otters could facepalm, Terri would be doing it right now.]

...You don't think a lot of things they've done are wise. [She might be attempting to tease him there.] And I can't blame you.

[If it helps, his caster will facepalm for her, because seriously, Padfoot, seriously. Padfoot's not easily discouraged though since he's still trying to knock over the table]

I'm not exactly their biggest fan. [He gets it's a joke, but he's still a little worried anyway.] I'm probably more worried about home.

[Terri just perches up there. Hermione giggles a little.]

I don't think many are. [So is she... so is she.] About the war, you mean?

[Padfoot's busy whining and trying to paw at the table. TERRI DX]

Except themselves, you mean. [He shrugs, but the look on his face says enough] More or less, yes.

[Nope. If you're not smart enough to get up here, we're not helping you.]

Of course, but they don't exactly count. [She notices and her own is a bit sad.] ...I am, too. I feel like I don't know what to expect when we do return home.

[...Padfoot sees a chair. Padfoot's going to attempt jumping onto the chair to jump over to the table then!]

Of course not. [He's doing his best to avoid her looks] I know exactly what to expect on my end.

[And she has no idea how to respond to that... none at all.]

I almost wish I knew for myself. Harry's been just a little bit further, but even with what he told me, I still don't know how it'll all turn out.

[Padfoot is not easily discouraged. Still hopping on stuff to get to Terri]

...you're the sodding Golden Trio, you know how it'll turn out. Even when bad things happen, you three pull out as heroes and everything goes back to normal for a while.

[brb leaping off the table now.]

...But I don't know how many people are going to die first. Madam Bones, Emmiline Vance, Hannah Abbott's mother, Dumbledore... who else? Who will we lose before we win?

...war's always been about who stays alive. It's one of those things that we have to just wait for Potter to end it all. But at least we know it's going to happen at some point.

[Okay, fine, you want to play? We're climbing up on a chair to divebomb you from above.]

[She's none too happy about this.]

I don't like it. We shouldn't have to worry about who's going to betray us or how long Bellatrix is going to torture us or anything like that.

[Divebombing otter ahoy! Padfoot's just going to yip and roll when Terri lands on him]

[She paws at Padfoot a little before tearing off again.]

[Terri streaks off around the house and tries to hop up on a cabinet.]

...I don't want to have to worry about anyone else. Riddle and Snape are enough.

[There's probably the sound of a chair being knocked over as Padfoot runs into it chasing after Terri, attempting to follow.]

[Terri comes bolting back in as Hermione waves her wand to set up whatever it was that got knocked down.]
