...Well that was certainly interesting. I hope everyone made it out of the snow and back to their residences safely. I was caught at home, so I'm fine. If any of my housemates are coming home frozen, I'll have my bluebell flames in their jar in the middle of the common room.

I'd also like to hear from everyone I haven't spoken to yet since the blizzard ended. How are you all doing?

[Hermione is going to send a Messenger Patronus to her housemates, no matter where they are. It says, "Are you all right? Please see me. I need to teach you this." Except to Harry. His says, "I need to teach you this and for you to teach me something," but it comes back to her, whining...

[She'll be waiting on the bottom floor.]

[Padfoot's a derp, so he follows! Bye guys.]

...mm. I suppose that's true enough. You should be wary of others as well.

[Terri streaks off around the house and tries to hop up on a cabinet.]

...I don't want to have to worry about anyone else. Riddle and Snape are enough.

[There's probably the sound of a chair being knocked over as Padfoot runs into it chasing after Terri, attempting to follow.]

[Terri comes bolting back in as Hermione waves her wand to set up whatever it was that got knocked down.]

...Yes, but that doesn't mean I like it.

[Padfoot's still following though.] I'm just saying...you never know how things will really turn out, no matter how much you'd like to believe things can change.

[Back up on the table!]

[Oh gdi, cannot hop on the table D:]

Do they teach optimism in Gryffindor house, or is it just you and Potter?

I think it's a requirement of Gryffindor House. [She laughed gently.]

[Padfoot's just going to sit at the foot of the table and whine.]

And somehow, I'm not surprised. [There's a half-smile, at least.] Just keep in mind what I've been saying.

Have you heard from Snape or Riddle lately?

[There is suddenly a pile of Patronus rolling around on the ground!]

Lately...not incredibly recently, just bits and pieces of things. I need to start following both of them more closely now.

[Hermione can't help but giggle at them a little.]

I guess so. It's worrisome that Riddle hasn't made his presence known more.

[derp-tronusss. Draco watches them for a few moments before shrugging in response to Hermione's statement]

He might be planning something against us. I'll keep an eye out.

[She nods while watching the two silver things without really seeing them.]

...Thanks. I wish I could see what they're up to. It might make things a lot easier.

This is why you have me playing both sides. That's the whole point.

[Terri takes that moment to dart away.]

I think I'm capable of taking care of myself...you trust me, don't you? [Terri come back! Padfoot's just going to run off, too]

[Terri's running around the humans now.]

...I do. [And she looks at him to emphasize it.] But I'm still going to worry.

[Well, Padfoot can't resist a good chase so he's following Terri closely running around the humans]

...I know you are. Worry about Potter, will you?

[Terri seems to enjoy this and she darts between legs, over laps, and around.]

...I worry about him enough. [But she's smiling gently all the same.] It'd be nice to not have to worry someday.

[Padfoot's going to follow still, and Draco's just going to grunt when the coyote runs him over] Ow.

...I know, but that's merely because he's partially suicidal, I think. [He nods in agreement though.] Who knows when that will be though. Suppose all we can do is keep going, right? [Damn you Gryffindors and your influence on him.]

[Hermione's still watching the two silver beings with amusement.]

We'll keep going, even if we have to drag him out of other situations. He does get into an inordinate amount of trouble, doesn't he? Though I suppose I have to take credit for some of those. [She's so proud.]

[Draco's watching...and they do admittingly make him feel better at least.]

Suppose that's why he has you and Weasley in the first place to keep his head on straight. We'll keep going. [Hermione, your newest project's all grown up!]
