[She sounds extremely professional at this point, very calm and sure of herself.]
As I already spend all of my free time in the library, I'd like to extend the offer to tutor anyone who goes to school and would like the extra help. It's no trouble at all to me and I actually enjoy it. I'm used to doing that sort of thing back home. All you need to do is tell me your name and if you'd like to do it over the journals or in person and I'll see about setting something up. I think tutoring and study groups are good things for young minds such as ours and it's a good way to pass the time that would otherwise be spent being bored or some such.
My name, for those who still don't know me, is Hermione Granger, and if you need me at all, I will likely be in the library.
[And then a little awed as she looks at the calendar and realises she's been here for a while.] Has it really been a month already?

[No, she really thinks this is logical.]

[Disappointed? A bit.]
[voice]
[She's kind of amused here.]

[No idea what to expect, really.]

Shall I meet you somewhere, then?

[It takes her just a little time to head on over, but soon enough, she's knocking on the door.]
[action]
Welcome to my sorta-humble abode. C'mon, make yourself at home.
[action]
Thank you. It's really nice in here. I wonder if Harry would want to move into one of these with me.
[action]
Someone from your world, then? Glad to hear you're not--y'know--alone. Even if showing up here isn't always the bestest best thing ever to wish on a friend.
[action]
[She smiles sadly anyway before pulling out her wand.] But, I believe we were going to discuss magic again? It's still a little strange to be able to talk so freely about it like this, but I guess it hardly matters in a place like this.
[action]
Yeah, I started out keeping a lot of secrets, here. But it gets old fast--especially when it turns out everyone else is this or that important someone. Why bother?
[action]
It was the law back home that we weren't allowed to talk about magic to anyone who didn't have it or didn't already know about it. But here, they can't reach us anyway.
[She presents her wand now, though.] We spoke about a magical focus and using Latin spells. I can show you some of the harmless ones if you'd like.

[then, she points her wand at her mouth and clearly says the incantation for a Cheering Charm, which makes her mouth stretch into a rather large grin. She holds it for a moment before having to actually thing the counter as her mouth doesn't seem to want to cooperate. All she got from trying to talk was a bunch of laughter and jumbled noises.]
That was a rather strong Cheering Charm. Sometimes I think this place could do with a bunch of those.
[action]
That was magic? Definitely seems more in the does-good category than anything--y'know--evil.
[action]
You'd be surprised. Do you remember what I told you when I first arrived? About being tortured minutes earlier? There's a curse, magic, that did it. It makes your limbs twitch and muscles burn. It hurts... it hurts more than you can imagine.
[And even softer.] There are wizards who love that curse, that one and the Killing Curse, and it's those people who my friends and I have been fighting.
