loyalotter: (because I'm brilliant that's why)

Voice;

[She sounds extremely professional at this point, very calm and sure of herself.]

As I already spend all of my free time in the library, I'd like to extend the offer to tutor anyone who goes to school and would like the extra help. It's no trouble at all to me and I actually enjoy it. I'm used to doing that sort of thing back home. All you need to do is tell me your name and if you'd like to do it over the journals or in person and I'll see about setting something up. I think tutoring and study groups are good things for young minds such as ours and it's a good way to pass the time that would otherwise be spent being bored or some such.

My name, for those who still don't know me, is Hermione Granger, and if you need me at all, I will likely be in the library.

[And then a little awed as she looks at the calendar and realises she's been here for a while.] Has it really been a month already?

Instant death. There's no counter or protection strong enough to block or reflect it.

Why is anything like that even allowed to exist?

I'm not sure if it's a matter of being allowed to exist, though if anyone actually created the spell itself, it would have been Herpo the Foul. But once a spell is made, it can't be unmade. So we're stuck with it. It's usually illegal and part of the three Unforgivable Curses for a reason. To use one of them will normally earn you a life sentence in prison.
