11th Gryffindor Note - [text/Action]

...Well that was certainly interesting. I hope everyone made it out of the snow and back to their residences safely. I was caught at home, so I'm fine. If any of my housemates are coming home frozen, I'll have my bluebell flames in their jar in the middle of the common room.

I'd also like to hear from everyone I haven't spoken to yet since the blizzard ended. How are you all doing?

[Hermione is going to send a Messenger Patronus to her housemates, no matter where they are. It says, "Are you all right? Please see me. I need to teach you this." Except to Harry. His says, "I need to teach you this and for you to teach me something," but it comes back to her, whining...

[She'll be waiting on the bottom floor.]

That or favoritism. Or maybe a combination of the two.

Ah, right. You are a friendly person, that makes sense. [He just doens't make friends.]

I doubt it's favoritism after everything we've been through.

Why shouldn't I be?

Favoritism can go a long way. It's probably how the pureblood mentality does so well.

I didn't say you shouldn't be. It's just an almost foreign concept when one spends most of their time in the Slytherin House.

It's rubbish.

Yes, well, it's practically a requirement for Hufflepuff and one step down for Gryffindor.

For the moral high ground, yes, but in reality, it's how things go.

A point, I suppose. With those traits that put people in certain houses, a personality type is more likely.

It's still rubbish.

Exactly.

[identity profile] noneedforgangs.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, it is, but it seems a great many things that are rubbish end up becoming the common thing.

[identity profile] loyalotter.livejournal.com 2010-03-13 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Doesn't mean we have to accept them.

[identity profile] noneedforgangs.livejournal.com 2010-03-20 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
True, but if you don't acknowledge they exist, you can't fight them.
