[This part is muttered, as though she didn't really want it to be broadcast.] So... who's still missing a wand? I don't recognise this one.

I'm going to be wandering around the park today. Does anyone want to join me? It sounds like just the relaxation we all could use.


[It's been about a day since she found it but she hasn't told anyone about it yet. Currently, she's wandering the park with it, though it's tucked away in her handbag, wrapped up of course. She's not going to risk breaking a magical item like that. Feel free to stop her outside a ride or something. You might be able to convince her to go inside. She does, however, look a bit preoccupied.]

Eidolons? Oh... your summon magic, correct? [She's been reading, Hermione has.] So some of your magic is gone completely?

[A little surprised that she doesn't have to explain, but pleased. She nods, and furrows her brow at the last question.]

It's not gone, so much as...I can't use it here. I've tried, but either the barrier is blocking them from answering my call, or there's some other reason.

Oh I see. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the barrier, the Malnosso, or something else. It seems to be doing that to a lot of our different magics.

I know everyone's power is diminished here, but has it outright prevented any of your spells?

Not so far, but I haven't tried Apparating or a few of the more difficult spells. It has made the Protean Charm more difficult and a few of the communication spells. [She ponders this. If there were one spell she couldn't use here, what would it be? Apparition, probably.]

I believe it would be considered Teleportation on other worlds. It's when you disappear and reappear instantly somewhere else.

Oh! Well in that case, I have a spell akin to that. It seems to work just as it did before, though of course it can't take me outside the barrier.

That's a relief, though I'm certain nothing will take us from here to outside the barrier unless something affects it and at this point that seems very difficult to do. I'll have to try Apparating sometime, though. It was... very useful to be able to do back home. [Life-saving more like.]
