[It's a couple of minutes before she actually says anything, but there are a few doodles on the page. When she does speak, she's very subdued.]

I guess this is the next experiment. It seems to be... a strange one anyway. I wonder who has my body?

...This is Hermione, for those who don't recognise my voice or my face. I don't look like I normally do.

[So the basic turn of events for Hermione: She wakes up rather groggy, eyes not quite as red or scratchy as she thought they'd be. Hello, something's off. She doesn't really notice her body change just yet as she makes her way out of the random room she was in. And a little later notices the body of her best friend... whom she had just fought with not a few days ago and who has been resolutely refusing to speak with her. Can't deal with seeing him yet. Hermione flees the house.

Currently, she (in the body of Raine Sage) is sitting by the lake, with her knees curled up to her chin. Those who know her, even if they've only spoken to her for a minute or less, can EASILY tell that something is very, VERY wrong here. Feel free to talk to her.]

My problem's with Harry, not you. [But it sounds as though she might be willing to talk about it later... or soon if you figure out where she is.]

[If she could see you, she'd be giving you a pointed stare.] You know what I mean.

You're not allowed to leave before I find you either. [Characteristic of a Malfoy, Draco shuts the journal and heads out]

[She just rolls her eyes and sits there, waiting.]

[Give him about fifteen-twenty minutes and soon he'll walk up behind her, staring out at the lake] Predictable.

[for once, she's not looking at you.] What is?

You being out here. [He's hesitant to do anything, especially if she and Potter were busy fighting.]

It's a nice place... I should thank you for introducing me to it.

Yeah. It's really calming, isn't it? [Oh forget it, standing as Potter is all wobbly and off-balance. Damn glasses. Sitting on the ground now and settling next to her.]

[This is the strangest sensation for her as she glances over at him.] Yeah. It helps you think a little, too. [So weird. She's getting along with Draco, who is in Harry's body, but they're about to talk about why Harry is mad at her...]

[Beneath the surface he's actually pretty annoyed by everything still but he knows he doesn't have a reason to be mad at her yet. In order to avoid looking at her, he's going to stick a hand in the water, beckoning the fish toward his fingers like the last time the two of them were at the lake] Now. I believe you have your end of the bargain to hold up.

[Hey, you know that thing called tact? For all she hounds on people about being nice... she has no tact sometimes. Now is one of those instances.]

He got mad because I was 'defending' you after you dipped him in the lake. [And here she gives you a pointed look. Man, is that weird.]

[Hello fish, we're going to pet you and ignore looking at Hermione cause even in another body, it's scary.] Is that so.

[She looks back at the water.] He seemed to think that just because I told him it was a bad day to see you that I was condoning your attempt to drown him.

So he's mad at me.

[Really, this sort of thing shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's known the trio for a while. This happens to them quite frequently.]

[Snorts in disapproval] First of all, I didn't try to drown him on purpose. I figured he'd be able to save himself. Secondly, I went back and got him eventually. Thirdly, did he bother telling you any of the things he said that led up to me beating him to a bloody pulp? And finally, what the hell are you doing defending me instead of him for?

Really now? That's noble of you. No, he didn't, but I thought there was more to it and that's why I didn't go find you right after. [That and she was crying too hard.] And I did it because I've seen a side of you he hasn't yet.

Noble? Not really. I'd rather not have more deaths on my hands, or have you come after me with something heavier than a polishing cloth. I suppose it doesn't actually matter much, he's alive even though he clearly hasn't learned anything.

[She just kind of stares at him like "...More?"]

[Leave it, he hasn't caught his slip-up yet] A side that's stuck looking like Potter?

[That might just be the smallest hint of a smile right there.]

No, the side that knows how to be civil to a person.

That's because according to him, I don't have one. Naturally I'm evil.

I told him he simply hadn't been around long enough to see it but he was rather stuck on nearly drowning in the lake.
