6th Gryffindor Note: [Voice] / [Action]

I need to see you. I have something to discuss with each of you.

[She sounds a bit nervous here.] Harry, it didn't work. I've tried everything I can think of, but the map's not coming along yet. But, Harry... Sirius' mirror... did it come with you to Luceti? Do you think it might be possible to charm one here? With your Mum out there, I think it might be a good idea to find a way to contact her or for her to contact us easily. I could make another paper for her, one that's charmed with three others, another for you, me, and Ron, just in case she needs to contact you.

I'm very glad the tutoring sessions seem to be working out for everyone. I hope all of the New Feathers are settling in well. If any of you, New or Old Feathers, need anything at all, information or someone to study with, I'd be happy to do what I can.

[She's out on the porch reading if anyone wants to interrupt]

[Lazy Ronald is lazy, so voice for now, from wherever the hell he is in the house that is not in the company of Hermione.]

You've got this thing with sounding really serious every time you talk, Hermione. What d'you need?

[she ignored that first part.] I'm not saying it over this. Come see me, Ron.

[Slight eyeroll, thankfully she can't see it.] Fine, fine... Where are you?

Outside on the porch.

[Which she is... she's sitting down and watching things.]

Right. Be there in a minute... [Probably munching on something, as Ronald is always eating. We'll say he's got a sleeve of crackers or something as he wanders out to the porch, having left his journal behind.]

All right, what's going on?

[She hears the crunching before she sees him, placing her bookmark in the book she was reading before turning to look up at him. She's not getting up from her chair, though. It's comfy.]

This. [And she pulls out a piece of paper, handing it to him.] Remember the DA Galleons? I did a variety of the same spells on this. Don't burn it or lose it.

[That's fine, 'mione. Stay seated, we'll come over and sit on our haunches near your chair to take the paper from you. Nods a little at her instruction, looking the paper over.] Can I fold it? [He means to keep it in his pocket.]

[She nods.] Just don't tear it. I think I've spelled it against that, but as our magic is half-power here, it's difficult to be sure. I've also made it so that each of us can change the form of words on the page. It's a way for all of us to communicate in case we need to. And if anyone but you tries to look at yours, all they'll see is a to-do list, something simple and harmless.

[Feel free to ask what's on your list, Ron...]

Right, right. [Folds the paper fairly neatly into a square and pockets it, holding out his sleeve of crackers to offer her one.]

...Wait. [Makes a face.] You made me a to-do list, but I can't see it?

Where you you, Hermione? I'll come see you...

I'm out on the porch of the house, Cho.

[She politely declines the offer.]

Well the point of the paper isn't the list, so why do you need to worry about it? [She's trying not to smirk at that.]

[Shrugs, going back to munching on his own. Extracts the paper with his other hand.]

...you made me a list, Hermione, of course I'm going to worry about it.

[She moves to pick up the book so she can hide the half-smirk that's forming.] It's nothing important, just little things that could be done in your spare time. [Like cleaning the kitchen.]

[After closing the journal, she walks out to the porch and smiles, hugging the journal close to her]

Sounded important... Everything okay?

[Hears that half-smirk in her voice and frowns.] ...Hermione.

[Hermione places a bookmark in the book she was reading and smiles up at Cho, offering her the empty seat next to her. Her journal is open on the table between them, so she can glance at it every so often to reply.]

It is important, but it's not bad. [She pulls out a piece of paper from her handbag, which is also on the table, and hands it to Cho.] Remember the Dumbledore's Army contact Galleons we used? This is the same thing. You can fold it if you need to, but don't lose it.

What?

[Frowns, standing up and leaning over, pressing her book down so he can look at her face.] What'd you put on the list.

[She takes the offered seat, now putting her journal in her lap. She listens politely, then takes the offered paper, stiffening slightly at the mention of Dumbledore's Army.]

Yeah. Those were brilliant, by the way. [she smiles and tucks the paper into her journal] I understand.

[She's half-snickering, but she manages to look up at him.] Nothing that the rest of them don't say. [And she pulls out another for him to look at. It's got mundane things like 'clean the kitchen,' 'hug your housemates,' and 'wash up.' Further down, though, are things like 'Go to school' and 'Homework first.' It's Hermione. Were you expecting anything else?]

[Hermione expected that, but that time's been and gone as far as she's concerned. Their problem now is with the Malnosso, the Third Party, and Tom Riddle. And Snape, if she wants to be REALLY technical.]

Thank you. [That gets a smile from her anyway.] It's got the same variety of spells as the Galleons, and I've added a couple. I just have to hope the magic sticks completely.

The biggest is that no one but you can read what's on that paper. [She pulls out another with a big 'To-Do List' on it.] They all look like this to anyone else.

[Gives her a sort of withering look, snatching the paper. Watch as his frown creases his face more and more the further down the list he goes.] ...Hermione, you know what? [Offers her the paper back.] You're completely hopeless.

[By now she's smiling and trying not to laugh.] It'll be good for you! School is very important, even here. It may teach things that are very different from what we're used to, but you'd be surprised how relevant it all is.

[Have a clownish guy doing something akin to apparating next to you - minus the pop.]

Well, this isn't exactly where I meant to teleport, but, I see I've stumbled upon a rather interesting young lady...

Pardon my intrusion, miss, but I thought I sensed a magical presence... might I inquire into your identity?
